Prompt Ideas

This week’s prompt idea is to use the style ‘Art Nouveau’. Art Nouveau, translated as “new art”, emerged in the late 19th century and lasted until the early 20th centaury. It was heavily influenced by natural forms and organic shapes, characterized by its intricate ornamentation, flowing lines, and stylized floral motifs. Art Nouveau artists aimed to create a harmonious union between art and everyday life, incorporating their designs into architecture, furniture, jewelry, and various decorative arts.

MidJourney Inpainting Feature.

Introduction

Last week, Midjourney unveiled its latest feature: inpainting, which users can now access via Discord. This feature is integrated under the ‘vary region’ option when working with upscaled images..

What is Inpainting?

Inpainting refers to a technique in image processing that allows modifications to specific areas of an image, while leaving the rest untouched. It’s fundamentally about filling in missing or altered parts of an image with plausible data that seamlessly blends with the surrounding areas. This can be particularly useful for tasks such as restoring old photographs, removing unwanted objects, or editing specific regions without affecting the overall image.

How Do You Use the Feature?

Whenever you upscale an image, you will see the option button 'vary (region)'. Choosing this option will launch the image editor screen.
