Cool Tools of The Week
Text-Video or Image-Video Visit Pika Labs and join the Beta to quickly and easily create videos from your images (or from text) using a familiar Discord interface. |
![]() | Text-to-3D Printing Text to image and text to video applications are developing quickly and maturing but, there has not been much development with text to 3D printing. While this is still in its infancy, MirageML does a good job at generating 3D models in glb format which can be imported into Blender and your slicing software of choice |
Prompt Ideas
This week’s prompt idea is to use the style ‘Knolling’. Knolling is a methodical art style characterized by the arrangement of related objects in parallel or at 90-degree angles, creating a sense of order and symmetry. Within digital art, knolling has been adopted and adapted with the use of software tools to arrange and design elements in an organized fashion, often leading to visually pleasing and easily understandable compositions. This technique can be seen in digital illustrations, graphic design projects, and even in photography compositions where items are meticulously organized. The style not only emphasizes the beauty of order and precision but also serves a functional purpose, making information or objects more digestible and accessible to viewers. The term "knolling" originally referred to the process of organizing tools on a workshop table, but its principles have found resonance in the digital art world.
Remember to send us your results (to [email protected]) and the the best image as judged by the editorial staff will feature in next weeks newsletter.

New MidJourney Features With Existing Images.

Introduction
MidJourney has recently released some exciting new features such as panning and inpainting. If, like me, you have many existing images that you think could be improved with these features, you may encounter the problem of not having these options available for images generated before the release of these features. So, what options are available to you in this case?
Older Images
As mentioned in the introduction, when you search in Discord for an older image that you may want to use inpainting with, you will notice that the options are not available, as shown in the example below.

However, there is a solution that involves the Job ID of the image. All images generated in MidJourney have a unique Job ID and seed references. Now, let's explore how to obtain them.
